Dr. George Langelett
Associate Professor
Dr. George Langelett is an Associate Professor in the SDSU Economics Department. He earned his B.S. in Marketing at Northwestern College, St. Paul, MN, and his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Prior to coming to SDSU in the Fall of 2002, he taught at the University of Wisconsin, LaCrosse (1999-2002) and served as the Director of the Center for Economic Education. While a graduate student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, he taught numerous courses from 1996-1999 and edited the newsletter for the Nebraska Council on Economic Education. At SDSU, he has taught Principles of Macroeconomics, Intermediate Macroeconomics, Marketing Research, and Organization and Management. Dr. Langelett's fields of study include international trade and finance, as well as economic education/economics of education. He has been instrumental in developing the Journal of Undergraduate Research at SDSU.
