John Sondey

John Sondey earned his B.A. in Economics at Bucknell University and after an extended tour of military service, including Vietnam, returned to graduate school under the G.I. Bill, earning an MBA at Fairleigh Dickinson University, a M.S. in Economics at Arizona State University, and a Ph.D. in Economics from Washington State University in 1989. While laboring toward his doctorate, Dr. Sondey taught economics at the University of Idaho, migrating to South Dakota State University in 1990. While at SDSU, he has published papers on military manning and on rural development. He is an avid and sometimes savvy stock market investor.
