Sen. Johnson seeks Washington press interns
Senator Tim Johnsons Washington, DC office is seeking a press intern for Summer 2007. Interns are compensated with a small stipend and the internships may be done for credit, provided the intern furnishes our office with the required paperwork.

ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP
The office seeks individuals to assist the press team with tracking media coverage, organizing press clips, writing releases, and other various press shop activities, as needed. The position is available for Summer 2007. Full-time interns are preferred. Legislative interns may attend hearings, research issues for projects, and work with the office administrative staff.
Qualifications: Dependable, detail-oriented, organized individual with some understanding of the legislative process. Must be a self-starter. Knowledge of Capitol Hill is helpful, but not necessary. Ties to the Midwest are also a plus. Strong written and verbal skills are imperative, as is the ability to digest and synthesize information. Interns must also be flexible and intellectually curious. We are open to all majors, provided that the candidate possesses the skills/traits outlined above.

Keyframe, a division of Daktronics, is seeking a student intern to produce marketing and sales documents and projects. In addition, the student intern will update the Daktronics video products Web site and will provide content (photos, text) for that site. Scheduling is flexible, but the intern will work at least 20 hours per week during school.
