Concert ChoirConcert Choir
The Concert Choir is the auditioned, mixed-voice choral ensemble at SDSU. Ranging from 40-60 voices, Concert Choir is comprised primarily of music majors and talented non-majors from many different academic disciplines. Under the direction of Dr. Steven Grives, the choir has garnered a reputation for rehearsing and performing a wide variety of choral literature - madrigals and motets, choral/orchestral works, world music, and cutting-edge contemporary repertoire - at a high level of artistry.

The Concert Choir has performed at state conventions of the SD-ACDA and SDMEA and most recently at the North Central Divisional Convention of the ACDA in Fargo, ND. Since 2003, the choir has toured the western US, Washington D.C. and has appeared in venues across South Dakota and the Midwest region.

Membership in this ensemble is by audition and is open to all university students.
