Cyrille Rose 32 Etudes for Clarinet Piano Accompaniments
|
|
| Composed and recorded in 2004, John Walker's accompaniments to the standard Rose 32 Clarinet Etudes was published by Carl Fischer and is available throughout the country.
The accompaniments adhere to 19th styles that complement and enrich the original solo etudes, turning the beautifully written practice pieces into recital material.
The piano parts are neither simplistic nor particularly easy to play. They contain full-bodied piano writing, creatively drawing contrapuntal and derivative material from the clarinet parts. The result is a set of fully realized concert pieces, characterized by a variety of sound and inventive treatment.
Examples of use feedback can be found at the Clarinet Bulletin Board .
