EET Outcomes & Assessment

1. Broad Knowledge:
The graduates of the EET program shall have a broad knowledge of electronic technologies and related skills; a basis through which they can continue their learning beyond the academic setting.
a. EET graduates have an appropriate mastery of the knowledge, techniques, skills, and modern tools of  electronics engineering technology.
b. EET graduates have an ability to apply current knowledge and adapt to emerging applications of mathematics, statistics, science, engineering, and technology.
h. EET graduates have a recognition of the need for, and an ability to engage in lifelong learning.
m. EET graduates have an ability to use the concepts learned in fundamental communication courses and posses more developed skills in research and writing in a discipline specific context.
      
2. Applications:
The graduates of the EET program shall be able to apply their knowledge practically and creatively to solve problems involving electronic or computer network systems.
c. EET graduates have an ability to conduct, analyze, and interpret experiments and apply experimental results to improve processes.
d. EET graduates have an ability to apply creativity in the design of systems, components or processes appropriate to program objectives.
f. EET graduates have the ability to identify, analyze, and solve technical problems.
k. EET graduates have a commitment to quality, timeliness, and continuous improvement.
l. EET graduates have the knowledge to manage change and improve productivity.
o. EET graduates have the ability to use appropriate engineering tools in the building, testing, operation, and maintenance of electronic systems.
p. EET graduates have the ability to analyze, design, and implement industrial control systems or computer network systems.
      
3. Tools:
The graduates of the EET program shall possess the tools with which they can effectively communicate with others, be able to work in teams, and be able to effectively lead team members toward a goal. 
e. EET graduates have the ability to function effectively in teams both as a member and as a leader.
g. EET graduates have an ability to communicate effectively.
n. EET graduates have the ability to apply project management techniques.
     
4. Personal Awareness:
The graduates of the EET program shall possess a personal awareness of diversity and society such that they can effectively work in a global marketplace.
i. EET graduates have an ability to understand professional, ethical and social responsibilities.
j. EET graduates have a respect for diversity and a knowledge of contemporary professional, societal, and global issues.
