The Teaching Learning Center’s mission is to further develop, support, and promote a culture of excellence in teaching and learning at South Dakota State University.

The Teaching Learning Center’s goals are:
- To provide faculty with faculty development opportunities which foster student learning at SDSU.
- To develop, identify, support and disseminate teaching and learning resources.
- To promote interdisciplinary, and collaborative conversations, relationships and activities.
