Educational Administration Program

Educational Leadership

Educational Leadership offers coursework leading to a M. Ed. in Educational Administration or Adult and Higher Education.

The degree in Educational Administration with an emphasis at the elementary, secondary, or even the k-12 meets the South Dakota requirements for the principalship endorsement.  In order to be endorsed, individuals must have three years of verified teaching experience on a valid teaching certificate in a k-12 school, one year of which includes classroom experience or direct services to students.

The degree in Educational Administration with an emphasis in Adult and Higher Education is designed to meet the needs of individuals who work in administrative or teaching capacity with adult learners.  The degree does not lead to an endorsement on the South Dakota teaching certificate.
